Appendix X
Hexagrams Deconstructed and Reconstructed

The table looks very pretty. How usefull it actually is, is questionable.

This appendix displays the various hexagrams that can be deconstructed and reconstructed, using the data outlined in this paper. It is a grid that is 64 graphical images deep --- one for each hexagram --- and 71 graphical images wide. That is total of 4 544 graphics. « Average graphic size is 396 bytes. With caching enabled, the graphics total 25336 bytes. With caching disabled, graphics total 1 798 856 bytes » « It takes 45 seconds to load from the hard drive of my Compaq DeskPro 386s. ® Go get a cup of tea, whilst waiting for the graphics to load over the internet. »

In the Commentary to the Yi Jing that I am writing, under each hexagram listing, can be found the 71 graphical images, that go with each hexagram.

The graphical images are displayed at yi_x_gr.html. Be prepared for a long wait, for this page to load.
